 The Department of Pediatrics-October 6 University-seeks to improve the health care of children in 6th October City and beyond, providing excellent care for patients and families; in addition to the education of clinicians and residents.

Medical Staff & Human Resources:-

1-      Professor Nehal El Koofy:   Head of the pediatric department and the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Postgraduate affairs and Researches.          Consultant pediatric hepatology.
2-      Dr Nevine Waked : lecturer of pediatrics with special interest in pediatric endocrinology

3-      Dr Manar Aref : lecturer of pediatrics  

4-      Dr Ahmed Saad : lecturer of pediatrics 

5-     Dr   Dr.Sara Abd Elrashed: Ass. Lecturer of pediatrics 

Services Provided:

Outpatient clinics:-

Residents  9-10.30 am

Specialists  6-8 pm

Consultants  12-3 pm

            All the staff members deal with neonatal cases (preterm and term infant) as they offer this service for the obstetric department in the hospital and the referred cases from other hospitals.
