Emergency Department

Mission

Our aim to offer highly quality medical service 24 hours/ day, 7 days/ week, 365 days/years to the patients in 6 October City and the surrounding areas, especially critical cases.

Number Of Cases

We receive about 1500 cases/month in different medical branches.

ER IN Summarry

We preparing our emergency room to work as compatible hospital to receive all types of cases (emergency cases and cold cases).

A Resident doctors

is working hours/day for 7 days/ week in addition to an emergency specialists ( not covering all days now ), but we are working on that, also with ability to consult doctors from different specialties, also we have skilled teams of nurses and nurse aid .

The Emergency Department is formed of the following units

· Patient reception area equipped to deal with 4 cases in the same time providing basal medical service (examination, injection, infusion, taking samples, nebulizer, ECG…)

· Resuscitation room area: equipped with most recent equipments and ready to act efficiently in cardiopulmonary arrest situations.

. Minor surgery room: for minor procedures under local Anesthesia.

· Orthopedic room : for deal with orthopedic cases management( cast, slap, reduction of fractures & dislocation )

. Emergency surgery room for the one day operations under general anesthesia, and provided with post operative care room with 2 beds.

· Another big recovery room for cases that needs observation and in cases disaster situations.

· Equipment ambulance to transport cases to and from the hospital 24 hours/ day ( two ambulance cars )
