Our mission in the department of Urology is to provide unique urologic services and care for our patients in all aspects of urologic fields.

Our mission also includes contribution to urologic research in order to supply the surrounding community with the cut edge medicare and the training future specialists in urology.

Clinical Service provided:

Our department expands its activity in all aspects of Urologic fields, including

·         Urinary Lithiasis “ Urinary tract stones treatment”

·         Uro-oncology “Treatment of urinary tract tumors”

·         Urethral surgery “e.g. strictures”

·         Pediatric Urology “Hypospadias, Epispadias, Undescended Testes, renal obstruction due to pelvi-ureteric junction obstruction (PUJO),…etc 

·         Prostatic surgery

·         Female Urology “Female Incontinence, Urinary Fistulae”

·         Male sexual disorders

·         Male infertility.

Department Facilities:

 We use Minimally Invasive Techniques in many urologic surgeries including:

·         Urinary Stones:

Extra-corporeal Shock Wave (ESWL): to disintegrate urinary stones without surgery

 Endourological management of urinary stones using cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, percutaneous access to manage and treat kidney stones (PCNL)

 Intra-corporeal Lithotripsy: to disintegrate stones using Laser, Ultrasound or Pneumatic power in endourological procedures for large stones, without surgery

·         Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia

 Endourologic management include:

 Classic excision of the prostate using resectoscope (TURP)

 Laser prostatectomy

 Plasma prostate vaporization

·         Urinary Bladder Tumors

 Endourological excision of the bladder tumors amenable to be excised endoscopically

·         Microsurgery

 Using Surgical Microscope of High Tech, to manage many of: Male Infertility Disorders, Penile curvatures, Hypospadias etc….

 Outpatient Clinic:

All of our Department staffs are ready all the time to introduce the medical urological services and to give a hand in protection of urologic disorders.
